I am 45 yrs. old fighting stage IV melanoma and as I sit and feel how sick I am or how tired of going to the doctors, labs, tests. and IV’s or accessed port that I had surgically placed in my chest I cry thinking of a child going through all this and not understanding all that I do I pray even harder for them. They deserve to live a full healthy happy life. God please help us have faith to be strong.

To all those fighting this courageous battle and their caregivers stay strong….there are many life changing memories while on this journey. I had brought Superman tshirts for us all to wear at the hospital the last week with my Dad and every time I see that shirt I think of my Dads incredible strength. Not a day goes by that my Dad and Aunt Sharon aren’t on my mind and in my heart…they have filled my life with love!

I was doing ok until I heard that little child’s voice. I am a singer and hold my own very well, and I could tear down the voice, but that little voice was so loud it reached the strings in my heart and gave one heck-uva tug. 2 mins after the video has stopped, and I’m still unable to see what I’m typing. I’ve lost 4 relatives and two GREAT friends to cancer; my father is a survivor, as well as my sister. Great song doesn’t cover it…AWESOME…really AWESOME!

What a beautiful song for those fighting cancer. Our little 10 yr old cousin just passed last month from DIPG. He was treated at St Jude. He was strong , he touched many lives and through him many have learned to have faith and be strong. Plus how to Live, Laugh and Love.

I’ve lost many family members to some form of cancer. The fact that we have cures for some of these diseases, and yet some of them are uncurable, is saddening, and and uplifting. It’s songs like this that make subjects like this come to light. I think Brad Paisley says it best, “We ain’t supposed to say cancer, but this is country music, and we do.” Among other things….
